The meandering creek in this colorful autumn painting contains many catch
basins and calm little pools abundant with polliwogs (Tadpoles) in the Spring but on a beautiful Fall day such as the one pictured here, the adult frog is preparing to hybernate deep in the mud. This refreshing scene is in Northern Ontario wilderness.
