arrived so suddenly, autumn fishing tackle and duck decoys were hastily
sheltered in the "Bunky". The frosty cold exterior is a stark contrast
to the warm glow from an unseen fireplace in the foreground. You can
almost hear the logs crackling in the fire as you ponder warmer days
when the window had been propped open to allow fresh autumn
scents to waft through the one-room cabin. The sleeping Mallard decoy
is unaware of the flitting Chickadees embracing the bird feeder beyond
